Posted by: nina
I heard a boxer talking on the radio the other day. He'd just won his first heavyweight match and was being asked how he'd achieved it. The process he described was exactly what we are going to be doing this week. It's fun and, as you can imagine, it's powerful. If he won a boxing championship by doing it, just think what would be possible in your life.
Walt Disney called it 'imagineering'; style guru, Peter York, after attending this workshop a few years ago saw his future as if a film. I use visualisation techniques all the time. They inspire you, they make you feel good, they help you see the problems you could face on the way and how to solve them.
If the idea of turning your day dreams into something strong appeals - and I can't imagine how it couldn't - come along this week to your local Life Club and get a clearer way of thinking about how to hold your dreams (photo and further lightbulb moment on blog).
If everything you imagined happened, how would you feel?

As my 10 year old son and I were lying in bed last Friday clutching our stomachs (some November bug or other) he asked if I'd like to watch The Sarah Jane Adventures DVD he'd just been given for his birthday.
I can't tell you how much I enjoyed it. It was really fun. And when Sarah Jane said "There's two types of people in the world. Those who panic and then there's us." I nudged my son and said "I think she's been to this week's Life Club."
Sorted, this week's workshop - guaranteed to help you de-stress (photo and further lightbulb moment on blog) - is for anyone who worries. The trouble is that those of us who worry, worry about everything and anything and not all of these worries are really necessary or helping us. Sorted will help you sort out which worries are important - and find out how to solve them. Last time I did the workshop I came out knowing I wanted a time sheet for my week to organise me and realising exactly why I loved the work I do - and that was a great learning.
So, if you, like me, love thinking about your worries - or even worrying about them, don't worry about whether or not you're going to enjoy Life Clubs, just come along and find out.
How many people are you worrying about as well as yourself?
And does it help them?

I don't know about you, but I love pushing myself. Yes, I get enormously stressed and worried beforehand, but I feel so good afterwards that it's worth it.
Last week involved a lot of personal 'pushing'. I ran a workshop on time management at The Royal College of Art, which turned out to be enormously good fun, but my fear beforehand went something like 'You're much older than them - won't they want someone more their age?'... 'They're creative types, what will they care about time management?' and countless other really pointless thoughts that I had to overcome.
Then there was my Create Your Ideal Life workshop on Sunday which was a big push for me, but, once it was over was a real high. Everyone left feeling clearer in lots of different ways with many of them saying "See you at Life Clubs" which made me feel great.
This week's workshop, Expanding Your Horizons, (photo and further lightbulb moment on blog) is about the loop our brain goes into which doesn't get us anywhere except proving that we were right to be stressed and worried. It's also about how we can create a loop for our brain that effortlessly pushes us forward. It's an enormously powerful workshop and one designed to make you feel better and clearer than you've felt for ages.
So, if you, like me, love pushing yourself (or even if you don't) and occasionally could do with a push, come along.
If you were to give yourself a push, what would you be able to achieve?
I know... greatness. That's what you could achieve. Just like I did last week.

Time is of the essence right now. We're all working incredibly hard to put off some future we're not sure of.
To help you with your time management, this week's workshop is all about someone who never felt in control. They were always late (or worried about being late), had piles of things they wanted to get through and never had time for and were constantly at the beck and call of others - from their best friend to the dishwasher repair man. They came along to this week's Streamlining workshop and their life changed. Suddenly they understood how they could get on with whatever they wanted to.
Yes, you guessed, I've been to a story-telling workshop at the weekend and there's more stories and a photo of this week's workshop on our blog to look at before you get streamlined.
What would you achieve if your time was your own? And what's stopping you doing it now?
Understand what's holding you back from having time you can call yours. A great workshop to relieve stress and give you back some valuable minutes.
