When I originally had the idea for Mummo, I was hoping that mums would actually write their blogs on here (yes, that's how long ago it was!)  Of course that's a bit unrealistic now as most bloggers are already established on Blogger or Wordpress or one of those big blogging platforms.  So I thought the next best thing to do would be to use the 'blogs' section of Mummo as a way of enabling mums to promote their existing blogs.

So, if you're a mum blogger and want to promote your blog on Mummo, I'd love you to!  It's very simple. All you need to do is:

• join Mummo if you haven't already (it's completely free and, by the way, it's also a social enterprise)
• click on the 'blogs' link in the left-hand navigation and follow the instructions to set up a new blog
• give it the same name as your existing blog and upload your main blog logo / image if you have one
• write a single blog post that gives people a bit more information about you and your blog - an appetiser if you like!
• make sure that you include the web address of your blog several times

I remember when my sister read one of the issues of Mummo magazine - she commented that she loved the pieces by mummy bloggers but had never come across any of them online.  I realised that, unless you knew where to look, mum bloggers could be quite hard to find.  So we're going to try and pull together a "one stop shop" list of all the mum bloggers in the UK.  I really hope you want to be involved ...
